Frocking ceremony at NAS Oceana

NAS Oceana Commanding Officer Capt. Bob Geis frocked Sailors to their new paygrades of first, second and third class petty officer during a ceremony June 15 in front of building 230. He also advanced one Sailor through the Accelerated Advancement Program.

Noting how it was "a great day," Geis told the Sailors that advancement in today’s Navy "is not a gimme," and they should be proud of their accomplishments.
